Senior Marketing Manager, Boots Opticians.

 

Gail started out at American Express forging her career in a variety of marketing roles from customer acquisition, retention, product management to ATL & sponsorship. After relocating from London to the Midlands (and having a little girl in between), Gail has held senior marketing leadership roles at Coventry Building Society & Boots (Retail & Opticians).
Today, Gail is responsible for the brand & customer strategy at Boots Opticians, leading a team of 13 to deliver value to new & existing Boots customers through developing a strong customer proposition, promoting it externally and leveraging their owned assets including its 650 stores across the UK.
Having always worked for brands with a powerful heritage, purpose & customers at their heart, Gail is extremely passionate about finding ways to unlock potential to drive meaning with customers & defining a relevant role for the brand. She is a champion for breaking down barriers both with customers & those she works with.
Gail gets her professional drive from supporting her team members in their development, influencing workplace culture & finding new opportunities to drive customer & commercial benefits simultaneously.
